These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VeroTrip web application at verotrip.app (the "Service"), operated by Vero Labs LLC ("VeroTrip," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
VeroTrip helps you plan trips and discover things to do. Features include AI-generated itineraries, a bucket list ("Deseos"), maps, an in-app AI assistant, trip sharing, the GetOut discovery feature, a personal places record ("My Places"), and saved preferences. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] of any unauthorized use.

Free access and AI usage: Creating an account and accessing the Service is free. Certain AI-powered features are paid on a pay-per-use basis. Your first twelve (12) AI interactions are provided at no charge; after that, you are charged based on your AI usage as described at the point of use.
Billing: Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. By making a purchase, you authorize us and our processor to charge your selected payment method.
Pricing changes: We may change pricing for AI usage. Changes apply to usage after the change takes effect.
Refunds: Except where required by law, fees for AI usage already consumed are non-refundable, because the cost is incurred when the AI processes your request.
Taxes: Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which you are responsible for.
The Service uses third-party AI (including Google's Gemini) to generate itineraries, suggestions, assistant responses, and discovery results. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and any deal, price, availability, or "what's happening now" information is best-effort and not guaranteed. You are responsible for verifying important details before relying on them. See our AI Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (trips, notes, ratings, imported materials). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to AI and mapping providers to generate results. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you provide.
When you share a trip, you authorize us to make that content accessible to the people you invite, with the access level you choose.
The Service relies on and links to third-party services (AI, maps, payments, email, and others). We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their availability, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Vero Labs LLC and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property except as needed to use the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that suggestions, recommendations, or any information provided are accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vero Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim or CAD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vero Labs LLC from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment, disclaimers, and liability) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
